matrox`s tweakutil

i used this, it helped me to get sbk 2000 to work, matrox are emailing this to anyone with a 3d related problem, what i can gather from reading their gaming forum anyway!

can ayone tell me what it is and what it actually corrects as there is no readme just execute and run?

The Matrox Tweak Utility lets you disable the Flip_on_Blank or Vsynch for your monitor. It also gives you the option to OC your G400

hello jordan,
vsync was allready disabled,
where does it give you the option to overclock, i extracted this file to desktop and ran it thats all you can do. i think you are confusing this with mgatweak or one of them, this file if my datereading is correct was only put on there site on the 20th of this month. apologies if im wrong,

This util simply forces the card to run in 1x mode.

I might've got the Matrox Tweak Utils mixed, but mine in Win98 lets me OC the card as well... it runs from the systemtray

And no I didn't confuse it with the MGATweak program

after running the exe i still had agp 2 according to reg tweak (is that because matrox tweak resets to x1 then on rebooting reg tweak resets it to x2
), and sbk decided it would work when it wouldnt before nomatter what settings i used, 0 agp x2, 0 busmastering, 0 write combining, all d3d off or a mixture off n on.
